Mira.
If you work on cars in the UAE, you already know the name: Souq Al Haraj.
The Sharjah Auto Market in the Sajaa area is the largest used car and spare parts market in the Middle East. Hundreds of dismantlers, importers and traders, side by side, with everything from a 2 AED fuse to a complete 4.5L Toyota engine.
What you'll find at Souq Al Haraj
Most Sharjah yards specialise by make. The big groups:
- Mercedes & BMW — dedicated yards with full dismantling, engines, gearboxes, electronics
- Japanese — Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda: the highest turnover, cheapest prices
- American — Ford, GM, Chrysler, mostly from accident-imported cars
- European — VW, Audi, Range Rover, Porsche
When to go
Saturday morning is the busiest and best time — fresh stock arrives during the week and gets listed over the weekend. Friday most shops close after Jumu'ah. Go early, bring water, and wear comfortable shoes: the market is huge.
How to bargain
Prices are never fixed at the yards. Start at 60–70% of the asking price for engines and gearboxes. Ask about warranty: most reputable yards give 7 to 90 days on engines and transmissions. Always test before paying, and get the part number (OEM) written on the invoice.
Export from Souq Al Haraj
Hundreds of exporters ship from Sharjah every week to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Yards will arrange wooden crate packing and customs documents. Ask the vendor about container or air freight — many have regular routes.
Skip the walk: find stock online
On PartsMarket UAE — Sharjah you can browse what the yards have in stock, compare prices and message each vendor directly on WhatsApp before you drive to Sajaa. No accounts, no middlemen.
Bien.
Find the part, send the message, pick it up.
Gran día.
Pd. If you can't find the part, post a WANTED order — the yards will come to you.
